still working on design/style of website

we have been trying out differnent backgrounds and banners, above shows the website with different backgrounds.
we now have the videos on the website as well as pictures.
when the user clicks an image or video it will enlarge/popup in full size.

The deadline for this assignment has now changed from friday to monday, because we realised that we are not even in on friday! however, i have now noticed that this monday will also be my birthday, so that's kinda annoying in a way.

The images refresh into a different location every 10 seconds. (The images shown are only temporary, and will be changed to the relevant photographs which we have taken).

Feedback

Today, we shown the footage which we have captured to our peers. From the recieved feedback, we now know what we need to improve in our video. We have also created a full plan of what we must complete within the time schedule we have.

We have only recieved one email back from lecturers, this is not very helpful. We have decided to now interview students instead and should begin interviews tomorrow. We now have a definate idea of how the website will look, and so today we have taken still photos which will be used to navigate the website similar to this website http://www.marcinkaniewski.com/. We found this website whilst researching on http://www.coolwebsites.com/.

Planning

Today we have organised what we are going to do and how we are going to do it. We have a range of ideas of how we want the website to be presented and have also decided to base our website around just the media block. We will be including recorded interviews with lecturers and also students on the website. First we need to email our chosen lecturers for permission to interview and also arrange a date. Once we have the interviews we will be able to plan what to do next, because right now we obviously don't really know when the lecturers will be available... hopefully we will have the footage completed within a week :)

Assignment 2 - Interactive promotional College Website

By the end of this assignment I will have created an interactive promotional website that will contain video, a production file which will contain initial ideas, booking forms, meeting minutes, risk assesments... etc and this blog outlining the continuous development of the project and technologies/techniques used within it.
